I’m so happy you found your way to this page. I started The Gathered Stitch as a place to bring together the prettiest, most inspiring free crochet patterns from designers all over. So whether you’re here to share your own design or to shine a light on a favourite maker, I’m glad you’re here.

When we gather great patterns, everyone wins! Designers get fresh eyes on their work and makers discover new projects to love.

Who can be featured

• Designers: Submit your own free crochet pattern.
• Readers/Makers: Nominate a free crochet pattern you adore. I’m happy to reach out to the designer for permission if needed.

I focus on free crochet patterns that are clearly written, with clear photos and a helpful blog post tutorial. Seasonal and giftable projects are always a hit.

What I’m looking for

• Clear, well-lit photos of the finished project
• A blog post or landing page with full instructions (or a clearly accessible printable)
• US or UK terms are both fine as long as they’re labelled
• Extras that help beginners: gauge, sizes, stitch glossary, video tutorial link, and yarn details

What I don’t feature

• Paid-only posts with no free tutorial on the page
• Content that isn’t safe for a broad audience
• Low-resolution or watermarked images that obscure the project
• Non-crochet crafts (I may expand later, but I’m keeping it simple to start)
• Anything that remotely resembles ai.

What you’ll get

• A featured spot in a themed roundup on The Gathered Stitch
• Direct links to your post
• Credit under your photo(s) with your name and site (read more about how photos are used here)
• Occasional shares on Pinterest and other social when relevant

How to submit

Send me the details below using the form below. If you’re submitting multiple patterns, just repeat the pattern details for each.

Photo & credit guidelines

• I use one image per pattern with full credit and a do-follow link to your blog post
• I do not host the full pattern on my site
• If you ever want your image or link removed or updated, email me and I’ll take care of it

Selection & timing

I get so many amazing submissions each week more than I can fit into every roundup! If your pattern is a perfect match for a theme I’m working on, I’ll add it in. If not, don’t worry I keep everything in my queue for future roundups. I post new collections regularly and share live links when your pattern is featured.
